Thoughts on Halloween

Standard

So I kind of really don’t like Halloween. Never really have liked it. Yes I dressed up as a kid (my mom even made me a custom Sailor Moon costume as an 8 year old, thanks mom), but there comes a point when you get too old to go trick or treating (and it gets a little creepy) and you have to hang up the old pumpkin can and let it go.

Then you get older and things change. A lot.

Example A: Girls now dress like this. But boys get to dress like this.

WHY CAN’T I WEAR A GIANT BILLIARDS COSTUME IF I WANTED TO. WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE A SKIN TIGHT SHORT DRESS?

If I do appreciate anything about Halloween, its the witty and clever pop culture costumes that people come up with. Some good one’s I’ve heard and seen so far have been the dancing cat lady emoji, McKayla Is Not Impressed and America’s beloved Honey Boo Boo.

With that, I leave you with my favorite Halloween clip of all time. First thing tomorrow, grocery stores better bring in the candy canes. I’m ready.
