New York 2013

Standard

I spent four lovely days in Brooklyn and Manhattan over 4th of July weekend. I’m a born and raised California girl (always have been and probably always will be) but it’s nice to go to a new city and try it out, and what better city than New York?

The energy there is off the walls. Everyone is running in a million different directions but unlike LA, it’s all contained. There is only so much room and now the only direction they can build is up so things get taller and taller and taller. We did everything from The Met to Central Park to Williamsburg and I got to meet up with some friends I’ve been missing terribly (hi Rachel.)

We did so much in such a short amount of time that I think the best way to tell you about it is to show you. So here’s New York through my eyes, or more specifically, my iPhone. To my beautiful best friend Chelsea – I miss you so much already. Thank you for showing me around your beautiful city. I love you.
