July Music

Since I am currently in the process of re-falling in love with music, I think once a month I’m going to do a “Currently Listening To” post. There’s usually some country, some trashy pop mainstream, some 70s, some British and some indie. It really just depends on what kind of mood I’m in. If I’m at work I prefer something more mellow and lyrical like Ed Sheeran or Phillip Phillips. If I’m home cooking dinner I usually prefer some Stevie or Tom Petty or the Eagles. If it’s early morning I’ll usually put on some trashy mainstream pop to get my blood running. There’s a time for it all.

Here’s my Spotify playlist for July. Some oldies, some new stuff, some uptempo, some cry tempo. Enjoy.

  • Overall Favorite Song: Wildfire – John Mayer
  • Songs to dance to: Best Song Ever, Little Black Dress, Runnin Outta Moonlight, Miss Movin On, Girl At Home
  • Songs to cry to: 1000 Times, Manhattan, Explosions, Make You Feel My Love, Come Home

**Apparently Best Song Ever (One Direction) and American Girl (Bonnie McKee) aren’t showing up on the playlist because they are external files I added to my personal Spotify. So they aren’t there to listen to in the playlist. But they are there in spirit (and on Youtube if you want to look them up.)

**Another note, Bonnie’s song hits iTunes next week and One Direction’s song leaked yesterday, hence it’s last minute addition to the playlist.
