Glitter Cannons and Champagne

Standard

Happy first real morning of 2014! Yesterday doesn’t really count since I laid on various beds and couches literally all day. The only time I got up was to answer the door for my lunch delivery.

I had a lovely New Years with friends, some of my favorite pictures are the Instagram filtered snaps below (I even managed to get a selfie with Milez). Our New Years was filled with glitter cannons, copious amounts of champagne, a midnight pool jump, brie and lots of dancing. I had to watch Dick Clark’s NYE special on TV (it’s my one tradition) so I figured out how to work the TV of the house we were in and proceeded to not move from my spot 15 inches from the TV from 11:30pm to midnight.

As I said in yesterday’s post, I’m very excited for 2014. I realized the word I was looking for is “expectations.” Without school or anything else really dictating my schedule or decisions this year, it’s pretty wide open – something that’s never happened in my life before. No expectations, no definitive schedule, no looming deadlines, just rolling with whatever punches get thrown.

Ciao 2013, Salud 2014.
