MLK: 2014

Standard

Happy MLK day! I started my day by reading my post from MLK day last year just to see what 2013 Sarah had going on at the time.

In reading last year’s post, I found that 2013 Sarah’s biggest thing was trying to be more brave. Not the crazy adrenaline junkie kind of brave, but the kind of brave that involves not being scared of your emotions. 2014 Sarah is still working on that. Slowly but surely, crawling toward being more brave with her words.

I hope everyone enjoys this day and takes a moment to realize why we have the day off. To realize what it took this man to make a difference in the world. To realize that his voice and actions were the cause for all the good he did. I need to realize that too – that it was the power of his words and his voice that made a difference.
